DJ Tim Healey

International DJ, producer and recording artist Tim Healey spends more of his time on planes and trains than he does behind the decks or, certainly, a keyboard. He needed a website which would reflect and contribute to his thriving online community without eating into the little spare time he has.

Based on WordPress, we created a site for him which does just that. We created plugins which, uniquely, allow both content and discussion to be mirrored seamlessly and in real time between his own platform and his 8000-strong Facebook page; as well as providing a rolling window on to his Twitter activity.

We also wrote custom software to provide real-time publication of his own YouTube videos and Flickr images as well as those originated by his fans; to scrape his MySpace events page for his upcoming dates; and to provide a portal into his BandCamp shop. A music player, based on jPlayer, is constantly updated with his Beatport top ten.
